How Promenado works
First the voice, then the match.
At Promenado you get to know people through their voice first; only then do you write to each other. The path has three steps, and each needs a yes from both of you.

Discover: your gut feeling
You first see just a photo – no name, no age and no distance. If you like the person, swipe right («I like»); if not, swipe left («I don’t like»). Down means «later»: the card comes back after three days.
- All filters are free. Age, distance and 16 more groups such as languages, relationship goals or children.
- Evening hour. Between 19:30 and 22:30, Discover shows you more people who already like you.
- Nobody sees who you like. There is no «Who likes me» list. You only go on if you like each other.

Step 2
Speed dating: the voice
If you each like three of each other’s photos, it says: «There’s a spark.» Now you see first name, age and photos and have 72 hours. Each person has seven minutes of speaking time for voice messages of 3 to 90 seconds. You listen to every message before sending and can trim the start and end.
Icebreaker
Your voice message of up to 14 seconds sits at the top of every speed dating. Recommended.
Give time
Once per round you give the other person three minutes. Free.
«I do not speak»
If you don’t want to or can’t speak, you write. A text then uses up speaking time.
You decide
«Yes, keep getting to know each other» or «No, thanks». Each pair gets exactly one round.
Step 3
Match: the chat
If you both say «yes», you have a match and the chat opens. You write to each other, send photos and voice messages of up to two minutes and can suggest a place to meet. A match never expires on its own.
Promenado is not a calendar. Whether and where you meet is up to you alone.

No ads in the app and no advertising ID. Your data is not a business.
Safety
You stay in control.
- Report and block is possible from every photo, every round and every message. Blocking works immediately in both directions.
- A person reviews every report, within 24 to 36 hours. Under «My reports» you can see the status.
- Every profile photo is checked automatically before it is published. A person must be visible in every photo.
- Your own word filter for words and emojis you don’t want to see.
- Pause your profile. Nobody sees you, and nothing is deleted.
- Promenado is 18+. To sign up, you confirm your mobile number by SMS.

Sparks and subscriptions
Sparks, not pressure.
Sparks are the credit in the app, with no cash value. You get 1000 to start, and new ones arrive every Monday. Every gesture shows what it costs first: «I like» and «I don’t like» 1 spark each, «later» is free. Purchased sparks never expire.
